About SEAHOUSE RECORDS
Seahouse Records was formed in 2009 by Simon Chandler, Rosie Hillman and Matt Kassell. The label was formed because the people involved wanted a label where they could release their own music, under whatever name, with full artistic and quality control. The label is very much run as a DIY co-operative, and is self-funded.
Seahouse believes in creative freedom and encourages independent music makers to support one another. The aim is to increase sales and awareness steadily over time, through the quality of the music released, regular live performances, and to attempt to place focus on the songwriting aspect of the artists - the mutual belief in each others' songs, regardless of genre, being the common ground in Seahouse.
Seahouse uses only environmentally-friendly methods in the production of its CDs and other merchandise.
Seahouse Records are always on the lookout for new members for the collective. If you would like more information or updates from Seahouse Records, please subscribe to the mailing list (coming soon!).
